Gameplay Mechanics ▶
Anti-cheese hero mod: you can only have one of each elixir. It's very broken haha, I love it, but there needs to be more creativity with the heroes.
Balanced plots: Farms can be placed anywhere, but it's double the price. 3x3 plots can be used for big farmland.
Be able to put 5 tribes in a map. Teams may be enabled, and so you may be able to team with a tribe, only at the beginning. However, a team is automatically set up with the remaining 3 teams
Better map generation: there should be more biomes, and they should be mixed together.
Breaking religious norms: -2 armour penalty for not following any religion or god or minor god. At least be pagan! There were barely any atheists in that time period
Brewing station mod
Buff muskets: Musket men are an endgame unit, but they're rather lackluster, like in a new world of guns, aren't swords obsolete?
Cool artifacts mod: you can find them in a map randomly
Destroying lumbermills, barracks, or 3x3 tile buildings have a chance of spawning ruins
Enable you to play as different races: elven, gnome, trolls
Endgame Cavalry: The endgame should be more intensive and fast, there should be a better cavalry unit for each tribe. Current endgame is too slow. For example: Germanic races: Nephilim. Goblins: Troll. Dwarfs: Robot Titan
Even harder difficulty
Fantasy mode – goblins and dwarfs enabled, or more likely to spawn
Government addition: Autocracy: +1 accuracy, -1 armor
I found myself never using spearmen, buff them somehow
If a tribe had already lost its town hall, and it only has mines or homes, and no builders, or they cannot afford to make another town hall, they are eliminated, along with all of their buildings and units. Saves you time :|
King piece: You can deploy yourself if you lack units. However, if you die, it's game over, and you cannot undeploy yourself.
Level progression battle pass
Market trading: Currently trading is useless. Add a mechanic where markets between owned cities can trade.
Mason building is currently useless after one use. Like the lumbermill, a worker can work there and convert stone into copper through the market.
Meteorites random event – maybe has a reward
Mercenary bases spawn more, levying their troops can be cheaper, you can pay them to not help your enemy.
More BLOOD mod. Wounded units can bleed.
More factions mod – elves. There's an elf God, why would there not be elves?
More hero description aspirations illnesses
More starter tribes, maybe ones that can actually do something. Also it should be its own bigger window with images, not whatever the hell it is right now. You have to read it one by one.
More traits mod: Berserk: -5 armor, +6 attack. Skin of steel: +5 armor, -6 attack.
Navy should be buffed, to the point where it could even be game-changing and interesting to have. Cause you never make a dock unless it's a quest. Give boats increased speed, along with more unit slots, and the ability to melee other boats.
No child left behind mod: if your opponent is more advanced in a research perk, you get a 10% discount to your research time and cost. The opposite is true.
Not much use to having multiple townhalls. Instead of the town hall being completely destroyed, if you destroy it, that means you take it, just like that, you won't need a builder going there.
Other mine types are more common to see. Currently, all there is is copper, iron, silver, and in rare cases, gold.
Random events happen more often, makes every game more interesting. Example: instead of a bar fight and now you need furniture, there's a food shortage, or there's too much deflation, or there's a drought, for the entire map.
Realism mode – people vs. people
Resource farms: permanent resource, for each cycle, 75 copper
Roads need a buff, they don't seem very useful in terms of speed.
Sabotage mod: You can burn someone else's forest through an expensive item, that way they have a wood shortage.
Scenario quests – no goblins?
Spiritual power: priests and mages are not so amazing. Buff in some way. More heals or bigger crowd control?
Undead faction – skeleton bomber
Water mod: You can now build Aqueducts, and they give +10 hp for all your troops while it's running. However, if it gets poisoned or destroyed, -10 hp for all your troops.
Weapon addition: Cannons
World wonders can be built for a small buff to either your units or something else.
Quality of Life ▶
Adds a timer to games: whoever has razed more buildings wins
AI mode: You should be able to let your attack troops be taken over by AI so they can do their thing and be annoying.
Auto-garrison: archers will naturally go into owned towers to guard
Auto pause when you are in a tab
Automated builders
Ban or remove items that crash mod
Bigger font, actually option: put your own font in!
Bountiful mines: Mines store more ore, there's 20% more inside. That way your spawn isn't so unlucky.
Cam rotator mod
Change victory screen to domination victory, cause that's what it is.
Churches or religious sites heal for more: 2x speed
Colourblind mode
Convert water tiles into land tiles for a price—some wood and stone
Custom heroes screen shows stats and everything on the custom hero file.
Deactivating unit talking noises
Deleting a building finally gives you "are you sure?" prompt.
Different scaling for different stuff.
Diplomacy relations screen
Esc should also trigger previous menu, p is too far!
Game autosaves every 1 minute and has several autosaves.
Game Help: There should be more tips and advice interacting with stuff. If you don't need it, you can turn it off in the options.
Game speed should be moved onto the live screen of the game, and there should be a visible pause button.
Hero character preset list
Hero discounts: Towards endgame, there should be discounts towards heroes, copper doesn't grow on trees!
Map types in "Create Custom game" shows the preview of the map.
Market now 2 pages longer.
Mod list, with enable or disable mods.
Move buildings for 75% cost of the building mod
No clashing colours, or at least be able to change your tribe colour
No more debris mod, spawnrate set to 0.1%
One portrait texture pack should have a simplified troop picture
Permanently make this unit, lest I tell you to stop mod
Pressing tab actively shows scoreboard, resources nor army stats show up however
Put diplomacy tab on the live screen of the game
Queue builder to make this building over here and over there mod
Quest portraits should be bigger
Remapping keyboard input buttons mod
Rename all units to what work they do, with lore naming as secondaries inside parentheses. Example: Builder (Bara).
Replay feature of the whole game
Researching cartography in the university will reveal the entire map
Refund or kill own unit which isn't damaged, for 75% copper back
Road drawer: Builders should be able to make seamless walls or roads or rails, maybe you could even draw them.
See achievements from in the game
See previous trades from the market
Show pathways to players that a powerful hero is possible, but with specific caveats and effort.

Upon saving your game, tribe name, the date, and the time as the name of the file for convenience.
Wyrmsunpedia – a huge tab that opens that shows extra info, descriptions, strategies, and the entire encyclopedia
You can attack friendly animals with melee, they will run away, but they need to move
You can grow your own trees for 25 copper, however, it will start as a stump.
You can pass through forests, or at least long duration mod
You can queue buildings mod
You can put your own music in the game for it to play
